1. Nature of this website
Clearliverefine primarily offers free-to-read lifestyle content. We do not operate an online shop on these pages. If we introduce paid products or services in future, we will provide clear pricing, terms, and a cancellation or complaints process before you pay.
2. Irish consumer law context
Consumer contracts in Ireland are governed by legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and related regulations (for example on unfair terms and distance selling where applicable). Those laws mainly apply when you buy goods or digital content or services from a trader.
Reading general articles on this site does not, by itself, create a paid consumer contract.
3. Transparency and advertising
If we use advertising or affiliate relationships in future, we will label them clearly so you can see when content is commercial. See also our Advertising disclosure page.
4. Where to get help
For independent guidance on consumer issues in Ireland, many people use the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and Citizens Information. Their websites are available at https://www.ccpc.ie and https://www.citizensinformation.ie respectively.
For data protection questions, the Data Protection Commission’s site is https://www.dataprotection.ie.
5. Complaints about this site
If you believe we have misdescribed something or handled your data incorrectly, please contact us first using the details on Contact and in Legal Information. You may also exercise privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy.
